It adopts hydraulic pressure ring, suspension cylinder hydraulic lifting mechanism, and independently developed ferrosilicon submerged arc furnace electrode adjustment device, which is an automatic control voltage discharge device integrating mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic, water-cooled cable, space lattice copper tube short net copper reverse parallel connection, forged copper tile, etc.

Main Application of Manganese Silicon Alloy Furnace

The manganese silicon alloy furnace is mainly used to smelt silicon-manganese alloy, which is an alloy containing silicon and manganese.

During the smelting process of the silicon-manganese furnace, it is necessary to mix raw materials such as silica and manganese ore.

Then, a reduction reaction is carried out at high temperature to produce silicon manganese alloy through smelting.

1. The Submerged Arc Furnace Silicon Manganese uses self-baking electrodes, which can be used, formed, sintered, and connected at the same time, and the operation process is relatively simple.

2. Semi-enclosed low smoke hood structure.

3. The electrode lifting adopts hydraulic manual and computer-controlled automatic lifting. The electrode is clamped by a cone ring, and the conductive plate hydraulic cylinder is loosened. 5. The silicon manganese furnace feeding system is a high-level silo sliding pipe feeding or manual feeding in front of the furnace.

Manganese Silicon Alloy Furnace Smelting Process

After the raw materials such as manganese ore and manganese-rich slag are sorted, the qualified materials are stored in the raw material yard. The material yard also stores raw materials such as coke and electrode paste. Various raw materials are mixed according to the formula requirements of the smelting alloy. The raw materials are lifted by the loading inclined bridge trolley to the four-story platform of the main plant, and sent to the hopper through the ring distribution trolley, and flow into the silicon manganese furnace through the material pipe.

The charge enters the semi-enclosed manganese silicon alloy furnace. The 35KV power supply is introduced into the furnace through the three-phase electrode by the transformer. The electrode generates arc heat between the charge and the charge and transmits it to the furnace filled with charge. Through arc heat and resistance heat, silica can be reduced to silicon manganese alloy.

During the entire smelting process, the intensity of the voltage and current on the electrode is set according to the smelting process parameters. The voltage and current values are different at different times, that is, the power input into the furnace is different. The electrode is always firmly inserted into the charge in the furnace, and the gas escapes evenly from the entire charge surface.

The arc is not exposed from beginning to end. The mixed charge is added into the furnace in small batches as the charge level drops, so that the charge level in the furnace is kept at a certain height. The electrode is in a flat cone shape. When the silicon-manganese iron water generated by reduction in the furnace reaches a certain level, the furnace eye is opened with a burner or round steel to release the iron water and slag, remove the slag in the alloy, and then cast it into an ingot mold. The electric furnace is powered under the prescribed power supply system.

The average electric furnace taps iron once every 2 hours, and four furnaces are tapped in each 8-hour shift.

Water quenching and tapping of water slag are selected. After the tapping is completed, the iron ladle car is pulled to the casting room by the winch, and the iron ladle is lifted by the crane for about 20 minutes. The iron ladle is cast into the ground ingot mold. After the alloy is slightly cooled, it is pried up and hoisted into the iron box by the crane. After cooling, it is stored in the warehouse.
