The LF 20 T ladle refining furnace has the functions of arc heating under normal pressure, argon blowing and stirring at the bottom of the ladle, and reducing slag making in the ladle.

The furnace body of the LF furnace is a ladle, and there are special requirements for the shape of the ladle. The diameter to depth (D/H) ratio is generally 0.9~1.1 and the taper is 4-8°.

The electrode lifting system adopts a three-arm structure. The biggest advantage of this structure is that it can reduce the diameter of the electrode core circle. Improve the life of refractory materials.

The LF furnace heating cover adopts a tubular water-cooled furnace cover, which is conducive to maintaining the reducing gas in the ladle and is conducive to refining.

3. The heating station bridge is not only the installation support frame of the furnace cover lifting mechanism, electrode guide device and charging hopper, but also the operating platform for electrode extension. It is welded by steel and has a certain bearing capacity.

4. The electrode lifting device and short net are the core components of the ladle furnace.

5. The short network adopts an optimized triangular layout to make the three-phase power in the best working state.

6. The electrode lifting mechanism is both the support of the electrode and the carrier for transmitting large current. It is composed of electrode cross arms and columns.

7. The electrical equipment is composed of high-voltage power supply system, transformer, low-voltage power supply control system, electrode lifting automatic control system, ladle car travel control system, hydraulic control system, etc.
